2018年10月1日～5日にスペインのマドリードで開催されたIROS 2018にて、馬書根教授がIROS 2022 の実行委員長 (General Chair) に選出され、2022年に京都でのIROSの開催が決定しました！

IROS (IEEE/RSJ International Conference on Intelligent Robots and Systems) は日本で1988年に誕生したロボットの国際学会であり、ロボット分野における世界最大の国際会議の一つです。馬教授は生物の機能や動きを応用する生物模倣分野において、高い影響力と貢献度を評価されIEEEフェローへ昇格し、この度実行委員長へと選出されました。
